Family Fun Geronimo Festival Lineup Annoucements
As you all know we are absolutely thrilled to be announced as Ambassadors for the Geronimo Festival and we cannot wait to attend. The Festival has such a great line up and mix that we will be spoilt for choice for all three of our little adventurers. For me, this festival is a return to the good old fashioned fun that we had when we were little, and its lovely to see my little adventurers eagerly looking at what fun things they can do whilst we are there. Maya is at that lovely age when she loves to read and fully understands all the adventures we are planning and is often the most vocal when it comes to ideas and suggestions (no idea where gets it from!) However, much to her disappointment, she will have to wait till the next set of half term holidays in May before we will be embarking on this adventure.
The event just continues to grow from strength to strength with so many additions to the already fabulous line up. First up, is Cook and Line from Swashbuckle will be performing live on stage three times a day (Saturday and Sunday only). Join them in a rip-roaring pirate adventure, full of fun songs and silly slapstick comedy. It’s guaranteed to be an energetic and interactive show to entertain children of all ages. There will also be meet and greets after each live performance. One of our favourite CBeebies presenter Alex Winters has also confirmed he will be at the festival. Geronimites can join Alex in the magical woodlands for interactive storytelling. He will also make live stage appearances and meeting festival goers daily.
We are big on the animal encounters here at fiveadventurers and were really excited to hear that Ranger Rob will also be at Geronimo. Explore the amazing world of mini beasts, get up close to lizards and snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. And for those who prefer their animals a little fluffier, there will be rabbits, guinea pigs and pigmy hedgehogs too. Maya and Doc will be there (probably most of the day) learning about all the creature/animals and getting hands on where possible.
Other new additions to the bill, include Tree Climbing with Monkey Do, Bear Trails, The Sheep Show, Balance Bike Course, Pif Paf Roaming Circus Acts and an Old Fashioned Helter Skelter.
Early bird tickets are still on sale now priced £16pp (children under 2 years go free): http://www.
