Oh Help, Oh No! its the Gruffalo in Meadowhall

“A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood. A fox saw the mouse and the mouse looked good…”

In the fiveadventurers house, these lines from one of our favourite books leads to lots of squeals of delight and excitement, regardless of the countless times we have read (and reread this book).  This year all little adventurers are in for a special treat; as over the Easter break, there is a new and fantastic way to interact with your favourite picture book.

Oh Help, Oh No! its the Gruffalo in Meadowhall

Little adventurers will be able to step into the woods to meet Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and the Gruffalo himself at the world’s first ‘Gruffalo Experience’ hosted at Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.  Coming to life from 21st March- 12th April 2015 this ‘edutainment’ experience is brought to you by Unit 10 Eventive and Magic Light Pictures.  A perfect ‘edutainment’ Experience for the little ones this Easter, can get a true ‘walk in’ experience of the story, interacting with the characters along the way.

I have mentioned the day out in on our house and the little adventurers have been very excited to the possibility of seeing all the characters, Maya has been reading the book to her brothers on a daily basis so we are cannot wait to see them all.  For any fans of the book, this is the must visit event of the Easter holidays!  Tickets can be booked online in advance, individual prices start from £7.50* per person with children under two-years-old being able to visit for free. For full details, prices and bookings please visit http://unit10eventive.com/gruffalo/

We are visiting the attraction and a review will follow,  and if any of you are visiting we would love to hear what you all thought of the event!

I am a traveller, mother and blogger. We love to go on adventures (big and small, near and far) and strive to show our children how amazing and beautiful the world is! I caught the travel bug many moons ago and despite having three little adventurers, I still suffer from "itchy" feet. We love the great outdoors and one another. Come and join the fun :)

      Hey Ting

It sounds fantastic doesn’t it? We all love the Gruffalo and the kids are super excited. I think the plan is to roll it out across the country so it may be coming near you soon 🙂
