Free Family events 11th – 14th September

heritage openThey say the best things in life of free, and I couldn’t agree more!  This weekend is the annual National Heritage open days.  The four-day event runs throughout the country and offers individuals the opportunity to go and visit places of history which are either normally closed to the public or charge for admission.

Here is the link to the national Heritage page.  There are loads of different events on in the area and it would be great for young children to be able to visit and see these buildings and places.

blackburn heritageWe are from Blackburn and the town has organised a huge range of activities throughout the weekend and are hoping to be holding the biggest Heritage events throughout the weekend.  Here’s the link to Blackburn Heritage event.  There are some great activities lined up and full details are on the Carnival Curiosity page.

Nisbah

I am a traveller, mother and blogger. We love to go on adventures (big and small, near and far) and strive to show our children how amazing and beautiful the world is! I caught the travel bug many moons ago and despite having three little adventurers, I still suffer from "itchy" feet. We love the great outdoors and one another. Come and join the fun :)
