I see you asked about S America etc.
Take your kids to Iguazu Falls (both sides, 1 day /side min). We went in Feb. Extremely HOT, but there were many butterflies on the top of the falls and they attached themselves to your clothing. Kids love that. Also interesting animals.
In N Chile San Pedro de Atacama or La Serena. Recommend Valdivia in the south of Chile. Sea lions in the middle of town, old Spanish forts nearby, boat trips, good walking, but rainy. Good outdoor hiking and family activities by Pucon and Villarrica. Easter Island (between Chile and Tahiti) definitely worth visiting. Expensive, but great for kids. Macchu Picchu a great train ride from Cuzco

I LOVE these pictures! especially of Maya climbing the tree 🙂 reminds me of my daughter Shama! Just wanted to say that I have nominated you for the Leibster Award and the Sisterhood of World Bloggers Award, I really like your ethos of doing outdoors/nature travel with the kids, I also enjoy reading your travel posts and think you have a great blog! http://selimsraasta.com/2015/09/11/liebster-and-sisterhood-of-world-blogger-award/
