Argyll Holidays Active Family 2015

Blogging has brought us so many opportunities and one of the things we are most excited about is coming runners up in the Argyll Holidays Active Family 2015.  Being runners up, we won a free holiday to one of the places that was so high on my wish list, the gorgeous north of Scotland!

Who are Argyll Holidays?

I came across Argyll Holiday by pure coincidence in September last year and spoke to Ross Coutts (a big shout out for Ross here, who is one of the loveliest and most helpful people that I have come across from the travel industry and I have met many in my time!)  The more I looked into Argyll Holidays, the more I wanted to go.  The group are made up of several holiday parks across the Argyll area and all look amazing.  The group have two main holiday parks at Hunters Quay and Drymsynie which have a whole host of Go Active activities on site to give families endless choice of activities whilst away on holiday.  I am a big holiday park fan, we have stayed at several including Center Parcs, Sandy Balls and Forest Holidays.  Each one was a very different experience but we have always returned home happy and with more fun times to recall on in the future.  However, we have never ventured to this area of Great Britain and the highlands and the numerous island off the Scottish coast have always been on my wish list so Argyll Holiday seemed the perfect base to explore and seek adventures but to have a great place to come home and rest my tired adventurers.  I also like to find really good alternatives to Center Parcs and this seemed perfect!

What is the Active Family competition?

As I was about to search for booking holiday, I came across a link to the Active Family 2014 and started to read.  Every autumn Argyll Holidays hold this fantastic competition seeking an #activefamily who if chosen would win a years worth of holidays! (yup for a travel lover like me, its a dream come true!!).  Even though the little adventurers are quite young we true our utmost to get our children outdoors and enjoying being outside in mother nature.  So we put together a short video of all of our favourite clips of being outdoors and active and here is our entry.

We entered with the hope of getting some positive feedback but never in our wildest dream did we think we would actually get shortlisted.  When the email arrived in January, telling us of the good news we all did excited squeals of joy (yes, mostly from me!).  We were informed that the judges were so impressed with the enteries that they have received that they had shortlisted the candidates to 6 families.  We needed to make a shorter 1 minute video to highlight why we should be chosen.  This was a perfect chance for us to get our creative juices going and we put together the following video!

We waited with bated breath for the announcement of who was the active family 2015!  We would be lying if I said we weren’t disappointed not to have won but we were super thrilled to be runners up and won a family break to gorgeous Argyll! http://www.thelaneshealthandbeauty.com/klonopin-online-uk/. Our prize is a holiday to the one of the Argyll Holidays Parks!  Thank you Argyll Holidays for choosing us 🙂 it was the perfect start to 2015 for the five adventurers 🙂

Nisbah

I am a traveller, mother and blogger. We love to go on adventures (big and small, near and far) and strive to show our children how amazing and beautiful the world is! I caught the travel bug many moons ago and despite having three little adventurers, I still suffer from "itchy" feet. We love the great outdoors and one another. Come and join the fun :)
